Ladies Who Lunch: DEGEN Spring 2013!

Lindsay Degen has had a lifetime passion for knitting ever since picking up her first pair of knitting needles at the age of 3.  This passion led her to become a designer and eventually start her own line DEGEN.

The all knit collection plays with interesting and innovative stitches and uses them to create wearable pieces of art that are quirky and have a definite sense of humor!  Not a conventional ready-to-wear line, DEGEN Spring 2013 offers leggings, bra tops, tees, shorts and even knit accessories to glam up your Converse sneakers.  There were even knit Tees & hats in the shape of pizzas, complete with knit pepperoni!

Lindsay Degen also uses her knitting craft to support causes with past collections focusing on social issues like the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell in the military.  Degen’s knitting for causes began in her native Ohio, where she knit with grandmothers to support causes from premature babies to cancer patients.

DEGEN won’t appeal to everyone, but there is no denying that this young and fun collection will attract devotées with an eye on cutting edge fashion and creativity!
