Ladies Who Lunch: Diego Binetti Fall 2014!

Although he created his label in 2001, this is the first season that I became aware of designer Diego Binetti’s work.

Born in Argentina, schooled in the US and having worked in the European Fashion Industry, Diego Binetti’s diverse background influences his collection which mixes European style and craftsmanship with American sensibility.

For Fall 2014, Diego Binetti has created a collection of rich Autumn colors and textures making this one line that is a must to add to your have to have list!

Ladies Who Lunch: Ricardo Seco Fall 2014!

Showing his Fall 2014 menswear in an historic Lower East Side Gothic revival synagogue, Mexican designer Ricardo Seco merged the past with the present in a sophisticated and chic collection he entitled "FOREVER".

Taking his inspiration from Jackie and John-John Kennedy in the 1960’s, Ricardo Seco seems to have channeled the spirit and style of that era into a collection that is modern and relevant to fashion right now.

Ricardo Seco worked with a base palette of greys and blacks accented by pastels and a few interesting prints.  Emphasizing his inspiration, Ricardo Seco also presented graphic T-shirts with the image of Jackie Kennedy in her signature sunglasses.

Demonstrating an original style and flair, Ricardo Seco Fall 2014 is a collection that you will want to check out and add to your wardrobe!

Ladies Who Lunch: Nicholas K Fall 2014!

When I think of my fave clothing companies, I am surprised to include Nicholas K to that list.  Not because it isn’t a great line, but because although it is a departure from my typical style, it works for me and draws me in.

Nicholas K has an urban nomadic warrior feel to it and the pieces, whether separately or layered, have a stylish sense that is the epitome of modern day dressing.

For Nicholas K Fall 2014, the brother-sister team of Nicholas & Christopher Kunz took their inspiration from French photographer Jean Gaumy and his book Men at Sea, which captures the daily life of commercial fishermen.

The inspiration provided the designer’s with a palette to create a Nicholas K Fall 2014 Collection that is perfect for this current season!
