Ladies Who Lunch: Ann Yee Fall 2014!

Detroit native Ann Yee definitely brings the urban edge of her hometown to her collections, but she has also embraced her adopted home of New York, allowing her to create collections that are street smart and sophisticated.

Ann Yee Fall 2014 is all about mix and match pieces that work beautifully together, creating a collection that is modern, versatile and above all wearable.

I’ve followed Ann Yee’s collections for several years now and I am always delighted with each new collection.  Ann Yee masterfully mixes a variety of fabrics with beautiful knit pieces, creating collections that are the true essence of American Sportswear.  Ann Yee Fall 2014 is completely on target once again!

Ladies Who Lunch: SKINGRAFT Fall 2014!

For Fall 2014, Los Angeles based SKINGRAFT made its New York Debut at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and proved to the industry that it is ready for the big leagues.

Founder and designer Jonny Cota developed the company from his roots in performance art as a performer and costume designer.  Cota sourced vintage leather jackets from thrift stores, deconstructed individual pieces and then retailored the leather scraps into performance are pieces.  From this process, the name SKINGRAFT was born.

Teaming up with brother Christopher Cota, Jonny launched SKINGRAFT as a fashion line for both men and women.  The line quickly became noticed by VIP’s in the worlds of film, music and celebrity styling with everyone from Rhianna and Britney Spears to Marilyn Manson wearing their garments.

With its artistic and unique edgy styling, SKINGRAFT is a label to keep an eye on and to added to the wardrobe of anyone who wants to be noticed!

Ladies Who Lunch: David Hart Fall/Winter 2014/2015!

A graduate of The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, David Hart honed his design skills in the women’s wear market at Anna Sui, Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren.

David Hart then found a passion for menswear, launching a line of neckwear in 2009, a collection of luxury ties, bowties and pocket squares.  Finding his niche with the David Hart & Co. line, David Hart expanded his focus and created his first full collection of menswear in 2013.

The David Hart collection is designed for the modern gentleman, giving his customer the confident and stylish pieces that they want to wear.  Quite frankly, there is not a piece in the collection that I don’t covet and want hanging in my closet!
