A new discovery for me during Fashion Week last February, I must say that I was very impressed with Elene Cassis’ Fall 2011 collection. A graduate of Parson’s School of Design, Elene Cassis started her label in 2009.
Elene Cassis presented a line of sportswear and dresses that was all about interesting seaming and the melange of fabrics, textures and colors. The sophisticated collection managed to be completely modern while at the same time evoking a feel for a 1960’s femininity.
As her Fall 2011 Collection hits the stores, we spoke with Elene Cassis about her background and what inspired the Fall collection.
